Frankly, we're a little surprised this hasn't happened earlier, but it appears that Garmin has a new Oregon Series GPS in the works with a built-in digital camera. Details of a Garmin Oregon 500 and 500T were leaked by REI.

The new GPS devices look to be pretty similar to the 400 and 400T with the exception of a digital camera in the new models. The addition of a digital camera will be nice as this would most likely let you automatically geotag your photos. This would also make sense since the new GarminAsus nuvifone should be coming out this year, and it will also have that ability.

We don't know when the new Oregon models will be out, but we guess it will be soon, since REI appears to already have them on their site.
