Better than Magellan Triton 500! I recently purchased a Magellan Triton 500 to use for Geocaching. It wasn't very Geocaching friendly as for letting you know how close you are to the cache. It only gives distance in miles. What's up with that?!

Compass. I especially like the electronic compass feature. I can just turn in a circle and it gives me my heading. Unlike the other which you have to walk in a straight line to figure out your heading.

Awesome GPS. This is my 3rd handheld and my second Garmin. I tried a Magellen and I had nothing but trouble with it . My 10 y/o Garmin worked better. This Etrex is unbelieavable for the price. Highly recommend it.
